These sites were selling fake ghd hair products, Tiffany jewellery and Ugg Boots amongst other counterfeits. Nominet, as well as registering and controlling domain names, is the main governance body for all .uk urls.

.co.uk and .org.uk have established a brand value that along with .com evidence a level of web based integrity that all users can share. It is galling when this is abused by the fraudsters and nere-do-wells of the internet as happened with these fake and phishers on the rogue sites.
